#pARTnerartchallenge

I was so excited when Pam over at Sewcrazi challenged me to create art with a partner. I loved the idea of sitting down and making art with a friend or family member. Ever since I started sketching faces, my daughter, 5 yr old Arya, was fascinated and drew right along side me. Her approach was so free and she never struggled, so I knew that I wanted to create with her for the challenge and share with you her approach to drawing. She even gives us some words of wisdom too!

Check out Pam’s #pARTnersartchallenge here:

To create today we used:
Faber Castell graphite pencil 2B
Koh-I-Noor graphite pencil 4B
Daler-Rowney Blending Sticks
Kneadable erasers

Thank you so much for creating with us today! Grab one of your loved ones and start creating some art! Be sure to use the #pARTnerartchallenge tag on Instagram so we can all see your work too!

Until next time…

Happy Creating!

XO- Erin & Arya too!

So I spent the entire weekend with a sinus migraine, barely functioning. (Which for a mother, is never a good state to be in!) Continue reading “‘Directions’”
