Flow With Me: The Creative Flow Project

Hey hey hello!

I can’t believe it is already November! This time of year is always my favorite. Fall… *swoon*.. the leaves changing colors, that smell it always brings with it and of course it kicks off the holiday season! BUT, before we get to all of that, it’s Flow time! ‘Small Beginnings’

Hello My Artsy Peeps!

So for the challenge this week I thought I would mix it up a bit! I had wanted to make another little mini book for myself to play with my watercolors, so why not combine the two! I decided to create my cover for the challenge. Check out my process video:

While the cover didn’t turn out exactly as I’d hoped, I still think it’s fun and will work for what I created it for, to play in! Here’s what I used to create the cover:

Chipboard cover

Ink Sprays: Lindy’s Stamp Gang- Titl a wheel Teal, Creme Brulee Creme

Dylusions-White Linen, Tangerine Dream, Funky Fuschia

irRESISTible Neons- Orange, Yello, Green

Sharpie Black Fine Point Pen

Uniball Signo White Gel Pen

‘Directions’

Hello My Artsy Friends!

Well, this week’s #inspiby got finished up a tad late. Much to my dismay, Hurricane Harvey showed his face in my neck of the woods. While we were very lucky and only ended up with lots of rain and some wind, rain, for some reason, always flares up my allergies badly. So I spent the entire weekend with a sinus migraine, barely functioning. (Which for a mother, is never a good state to be in!) Continue reading “‘Directions’”

‘Fly’

I was so excited to start this week’s Inspiby challenge. Karen and I have been amassing art journals. Yes I know, how many journals does one gal truly need? Well, a lot! Haha! Especially when you are learning. (No, truly you don’t need that many!) Karen chose this week’s inspiring layout with the intentions of using the black Dylusions journal. I could have sworn I had that journal as well. Blame my Mom brain or sleep deprivation but alas, I do not have that journal after all. (It IS on my wish list but I just haven’t gotten that far down the list yet.)

So, what is one to do? Continue reading “‘Fly’”
